A high school student is doing background research on 3D printing. She wanted me to be a source for her paper. I gave her this lists of links instead,

I thought these were links most relevant to a student conducting research using a RepRap style 3D printer (Printrbot).

What links would you recommend?

Most interested in peer reviewed works, primary sources or research style projects.

This history book is amazing: http://garyhodgson.com/reprap/2012/02/a-history-of-reprap-development/

It’s of the RepRap projects history, specifically, but documents a lot of the different things we’ve tried over the years.

Thanks @ThantiK link added to blog post and you are now listed as a contributor. Excellent primary source.

Added a few more links.

Also looking for a research article from the past few weeks, it was in Chinese and was comparing different filament properties. I didn’t favorite the article because the translation was awful but the student researcher reads Chinese.
