A little more progress on my printer design:

  1. 3 point bed leveler/heated-bed/heat-spreader (done)

  2. Final aluminum x/y support plate to replace prototype wood version (done)

Still finalizing my extruder carriage to include the x-endstop. But I am so close to my first print I can almost taste it. :slight_smile:

Very nice work. What did you use to glue the silicone mat to the aluminium plate with?

@Eclsnowman Love the three point bed leveling that is actually what I am doing on mine. Love what you’ve done and look forward to future updates

@Wayne_Friedt high temp silicone adhesive.

Good idea.

Amazing. Where have you bought that small silicone mat? It looks far thinner than the ones I’ve seen.

Exhilarating isn’t it, the anticipation…
it only diminishes slightly with each new design & build.
I have been involved in 5 builds, 2 of which were my own.
it’s even exciting when it’s not yours!

This thing is coming along nicely

@Samuel_Ureta it only looks small because the build platform is so large. It is actually a 12"x12" 24v heated mat from: http://store.qu-bd.com/product.php?id_product=60

May i ask what kind of control board are you using?

@zhi_rui_Tam azteeg x3. I read several posts saying the x3 is good for high power 24v applications.
