A package of printer parts came yesterday from China…I swear when I opened it, it smelled like pollution.
Course, it could have just been fresh electronics…
…or both.
Not entirely unlikely. Back when I had some modems built in China we had to specify in the contract that there would be no smoking during final pack and ship as the people getting the modems complained when opening them that they smelled like bad cigarettes.
Seen that happen.
Or the stuff smells like amonia because it was packed near the restroom…
