A short video I put together on the design and operation of my LED gauntlets. Code here: https://github.com/fibonacci162/LEDs/blob/master/burning_man_2015/gauntlets_burning_man_2015/gauntlets_burning_man_2015.ino

Totally sweet. Has a great look.
awesomesauce!!! well done mate
Very VERY cool and great workmanship! I’m interested in what the long-term performance will be since it still has some flex. Keep us posted. Good job!
simple, effective, awesome.
This is really cool! Why did you animate it like a long strip instead of a matrix? Also- if there’s going to be a fanny pack involved, the least you could do is give it some blinky lights!
@Charity_Stolarz to be honest, I procrastinated so long on this project that I didn’t have time to write the transformation code to turn my animations from strips into matrices
Also, good point about the fanny pack. My bad.
Hey what were the connectors you used? What are they called?
@Daniel_Wilson1 story of my life except I’m not even procrastinating- I’m just overly optimistic about what I can accomplish in a given amount of time. Stealing back my blinky fanny pack idea btw…
@Colin_Harrington I am not certain what the part number is. I found them at Al Lasher’s in Berkeley. They are a waterproof, keyed, 4-conductor barrel connector.
@Colin_Harrington these? http://www.aliexpress.com/item/3PIN-waterproof-transparent-connector-male-and-female-10cm-long-each/32261028380.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.71.NsbY8w
@Randal_B mine was actually a 4-pin (I didn’t use the 4th pin), but these look pretty similar.
