I like the idea. I won’t however expect a smaller battery to last as long. This is more of a handy bodge waiting for a problem to recur. I would print it in snot green to remind us that it’s a bodge.

@Nathan_Walkner some time ago I put a strip of black rubber into a welder to stop the PCB from shorting on the metalwork and what caught my eye were sparks and flames. The reason was carbon in the rubber!!

@Nathan_Walkner It gets hot quite quickly when enough current is passed through it. That’s what happened.
