Actually printed something usefull today
I had to replace the faucet in my kitchen some time ago and could not fasten the new one enough, because I had to cut a big hole to fasten the old (cheap) one. It bothered me the whole time to have the new faucet wobbling a bit, so I designed and printed that thing in the pictures. The smaller upper part fits into the 5cm hole and the wider part hold it in place. Works very well!! Printed with PETG, 0,25mm layer height, 90mm/sec print speed and 30% infill. Sorry for the bad pictures, but itβs quite dark below my kitchen sink
You not only printed something useful, you saved the carbon costs of shipping raw materials to one continent, and finished parts to another. Thousands of miles of travel and the related impact to the environment. NICELY DONE!
Its pretty cool to print something useful knowing that it fixed something.
