Added bearings at the bottom of Z axis ACME leadscrew
Fixed my Z Axis problem, I wasn’t able to use the whole size of my Z-axis, as the build platform got stuck @ around 150mm due to over constraints. The bed is not fixed with screws to the nut of the lead screw anymore, it just sits on a L profile. I also added adjustable bearing holders at the bottom of the lead screw. The male part can be adjusted in x and y direction and fixed with screws. I thought what is good for Lego Technik is good for my printer as well. And a bit of patriotism comes for free…
Now I can use 330mm of Z (not sure if I ever will)
Can You, please, show the top of Z-axis?
Do you use a 10mm spindle?
Its for a bearing with 10mm id, 26mm od, 8mm thick.
