After reducing the acceleration of my K8200 driven by Repetier Host V0.90C and Slic3r the calculated printing time is exceed by factor 2-3. You can see the seconds counting down veeery slowly. Has anybody observed that too?

Yes it seems repetier is not very good at time predictions. I have never had a print finish on"time" according to repetier
but before I reduced the acceleration the prediction was quite good. With the higher acceleration I had the problem with loosing motor steps…
…and lower accelerations slow down your print. If your host (Repetier) does not properly take that into account, the time calculation will be way off.
That’s y I like sd card printing as it just gives you a percent if how complete the print is much more accurate
