After scaling up the parts in my ratcheting belt tensioner, well it’s a bust for now. To many small parts prone to failure

On the other hand I did design and print a rather simplistic belt tensioner.

I tension my belt by attaching one end such that the teeth interlock after it loops threw the extruder. Zip tie that with the extra interlocked tooth to tooth .
Then grab the other end and pull it threw to tighten the belt, zip tie like the other side.
Mark the teeth, adjust in or out a tooth at a time to get it right.
In my experience you shouldnt need tensioners. I got it too tight the first time with this method. Loosened it one tooth and its perfect.

That’s a good idea, I was.boared and after completing my spool carriage I wanted to make something else.
