After Solving the intermittent extrusion problem a new problem arised. thin filaments or redue appears after extrusion stops and head traves and thin lines appear on Prints any solution for that guys.
somebody please help
Are you referring to the stringing. If you are you can increase retraction a little bit and see if that makes it less stringing.
@Daniel_Fielding yes, i have disabled retraction. how much do you suggest i retract and at what speed??
Start off at say 2mm length at 20mm/sec and see how it goes then increase or decrease depending on those results. You don’t need to increase/decrease speed until you work out distance. Once you have distance figured out then increase speed slightly.
ok thans @Daniel_Fielding any other suggetions for getting good quality prints
Perhaps lower temp by a few degrees
I tried using retractction if if i retract more than 3 mm itentermittent retraction occours. tried diffrent speeds still cant solve stinging problem @Daniel_Fielding any other suggestion
@boog_nish @Daniel_Fielding Still havnt solved the problem When i use retraction intermittent extrusion occours even if i lower temp the problem occours now its becoming a major problem its taking a lot of time cleaning the prints please help…
Are you using a cooling fan?
@Daniel_Fielding Yes yes i am using two a 30 mm and a 70mm fan. its rainy season hear now. so i have to compansate for heat bed tempratures otherwise parts wont stick to bed.
Tried turning down heat by just a little at a time? Maybe just a bit too hot? When you say ‘intermittent’, how precisely do you mean?
Have you cleaned out your hotend lately?
This has helped me in the past, and probably is a good idea anyway, especially if you haven’t **
I clean the nossile every time before i start printing so no problem there. I have gone down to 190. for intermittent i mean when the the extruder rectracts it will ill not extrudes for next 3-4mm of filment.
Nozzle clean inside also yeah?
Still sounds like a temp and/or extruder feed pressure thing to me. Like you are getting some ooze even retracting because of temp too high, and over retracting maybe to compensate, which in turn would effect extrusion after the retraction. Just thinkin’*
Also remember that just because you printer says it’s at 190 doesn’t mean it’s actually at 190.
will try to test temps
