After some interesting weekends and time waiting on parts,

After some interesting weekends and time waiting on parts, I’ve finally completed the 3rd upgrade to my DIY printer. this one is pretty significant. New frame, new heated bed. here are some “before” and “after”. I still need to print a holder for the display, but I ran out of white PLA, and I want it to be a “clean” build.
This is the actual second print. the first one is a Lego Technic compatible curved piece, which is perfect. no supports, sliced with Cura 15.01, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height.

Looking great.

@Chuck_McManis thanks! electronics mount done (it wasn’t) and looking for a compact spool holding solution.

@Adrian_Ciubotariu look on this that is in my 1 comments they have worked on it for many years

@Bjorn_Simonsson I don’t really understand what you mean…

Bath is a universitet in UK that made RepRap for ca 10 years and your 3D printer are build? after there ides
It is free to ask,and they help you on eny question and look on Youtube RepRap then you understand

I’ve been working on the initial build for 2years, because of funding issues… The first print was done 3 years ago… I’ve built my first cnc close to 9 years ago. So I’ve kinda got it. Considering my day job is in micro fabrication, the time invested in my diy printer is strictly at a hobby level. Thanks for pointing Bath out…
