Aldi Australia are selling a steel-framed 3D printer for $499 next Wednesday!
Apparently it’s a Prusa i3 variant, according to @Mr_covert .
Build volume: 200 x 200 x 180mm
LCD controller, heated bed, USB and SD card supported, comes with CURA.
seems to be a rebranded Wanhao Duplicator i3

@Tony_Castley our local Aldi has 10-15, so I will need to get there when they open tomorrow.
Actually they only had 5!
I was among the first in the door at 8:30 and got one for myself, but the remainder were bought in minutes.
Maybe Aldi have seriously underestimated demand for these 3D printers.
