Alex Lee, a great designer and maker once started a cut-it-forward group for the OX build. Basically your given a set of OX plates and make a set for another maker. These plates were not perfect but they got you building.
I have 4 sets of gantry plates that are not good enough for the commercial kits, but they will due to get you going. A little filing may be required. You pay shipping.

I have a friend in MS that wanted me to keep an eye out for a set to get him started. I’d like to get a set for him if possible.

For shipping just get some type of item you need, relative in size. Then it will be about the same and we will get the plates in there.
