All metal Printrbot Simple

Way to go @Brook_Drumm that thing looks fantastic. Can’t wait to see more of it.
Brook mentioned this was coming while at the 3D Expo, looks pretty good. I’d like to see a slightly larger print space though. I think a 6^3 size would cover a lot of what most people are printing right now.
I think this does have a larger print volume than the wooden simple
Agree, I noticed the X-axis looks like it’s slightly wider, but other axis appear to be the same. Even a slightly wider bed has opened up the chance to print a lot more things for me.
@Tim_Sills I read the review and it now prints 664 .
Had that been out in November, I would have had a HARD time deciding what to build.
I totally misread this. I thought it was saying the printer printed metal. This is great though. Structurally sturdier frame = better prints.
@William_Frick nice, I didn’t catch the specs so that little bit of extra real estate will make for some happy printers.
6 x 6 x 6, actually.
Why no heat bed as standard. Get that and its an excellent starter machine.
Dammit, now in want it… @Brook_Drumm you are like a phone maker, I can not keep up… I wonder if there are plans for a mechanics only kit?
Hopefully it has a heated bed ?
