Amateur Tip: Set your Z axis to “Always Powered” (but make sure it doesn’t get too hot), X and Y to “Powered During Machine Cycle”. Couldn’t figure out why my cuts were just slightly off each time; spindle and bit and vacuum were /just/ enough to make it drop ever so slightly between runs.
And make sure the coupler is tight between the Z motor and the lead screw. Not 30 minutes ago, I seriously damaged my spoil board because the coupler came loose.
just set $1=255 and everything will be ok.
