And this is why you spring for the Mic6 instead of cheaping out on the 6061 aluminum. One day you too will have an order due in one day and find out your bed is bowed more than a 747 wing. I ended up throwing my smartrap’s 1/8 in aluminum on top to finish this order. Final one of the year and for this printer and it decided to give me troubles…
I do like mic6, and it’s pretty flat stuff, but do you think your 6061 plate has changed shape over time?
Since mic6 is cast then milled flat and sheet is compressed. It’s easier for sheet to bend and have a tendency to sag over time. Where as cast mic6 is more temp stable
C250 is as well a good option
