Another Isis wing dance from last weekend’s Mermaid convention. The mermaids went nuts for the wings!
Since this one was a solo, I didn’t automate the lights to the music in the same way as I do for the duet stuff. I chose the patterns I wanted at specific points in the music and used my thumb button to switch modes at appropriate moments during the dance.
I enjoy doing it this way because I can “feel” the mode changes as part of the dance, and it’s not a big deal if I don’t get the very first click at exactly the right time. But it is more difficult to think about thumb clicks and still dance with my whole heart.
