Another small step rebuilding my MaxNC 10, now hooking up wires with plugs for the 4 steppers, X Y Z and A.
The flexible hose is, at the inwards ribbons, about 0.8mm wide with a diameter of Ø8mm, but the plug end hole wall is 1.6mm and just about 6mm, so i milled it thinner and drilled up to 8mm, so the plug wraps thightly on the slim parts of the hose. Turned out to be a solid attachment.
The shield of the wire is pulled out to attach between the plastic casing and the metal part of the plug. This gives a fair connection while not being difficult to service later.
