Any Canadians on here? Where do you order your Filament from?
I’ve been ordering from Amazon but I find the supplies aren’t always reliable. I started with Solutech but they have diameter constancies, I tried MG Chemicals but also found diameter issues, the only one I’ve really liked so far are Hatchbox, but Amazon (Canada at least) has limited colours available for them.
Amazon (US) isn’t much use, most of the filaments don’t ship to Canada or aren’t eligible for Prime.
I really like ordering it from Amazon.ca because of Amazon Prime, 2 days free shipping on Filament is awesome! But my selection isn’t that great unless I’m not picky about my brand.
Then there is also the fact that they don’t really have great availability on exotic filaments, flexible filament being one I’d really like to try.
You can try Filaments.ca in Toronto for all kinds prices are good as is quality. They offer all kinds and manufacturers brands free shipping with certain amounts
(Wpg, MB here) Lately I’ve been supporting our local electronics/parts store (http://www.tiptopelectronics.com/). I only buy 1 or 2 rolls at a time, so once shipping is factored in they are only $1-2 more than my last rolls from http://seacans.com or http://filaments.ca
I’ve also bought from Voxel and creatorfuel. (currently a single roll from creatorfuel is $34 + taxes to my door, or $30 + taxes at TipTop).
Not sure if they ship to Canada but I can tell you I have been very happy with Inland Brand filament. You can find it on Amazon in a couple colors and is under $29 usd a kilo. Good stuff especially for the price. Many people say it is just rebranded esun
With the way our dollar has tanked, I’m waiting for prices to climb. @Griffin_Paquette $29US = ~$40CDN, or about 25-30% more than current prices. In fact you might want to check out some of the mentioned Canadian suppliers while it lasts…
