Any one know why my sanguinalolu board with marlin would not be responding when I press any of the X-Axis move buttons?

Doesn’t respond at all? Both directions? Try out an M119 and see what your endstops report (if it does work in 1 direction)

That’s correct no movement in either direction

Try swapping a different motor to the x stepper driver. If it works, then there’s either bad worrying or a bad motor. If it doesn’t, then switch the motor back, and swap out the driver. Perhaps the driver is cooked, or the current is not set high enough

My extruder just died so I need to do the same. I got a sang board too, but the only thing really unique about it that’s worthy of mention is the 5vdc voltage regulator. If your usb 5vdc is a little low, the voltage regulator will burn up. Mine sizzled and I burnt a finger pretty bad. I had to cut the 5VDC trace between the USB plug and the regulator.

Good luck

I have tried different motors on the x and swapping the drivers with no luck. Its like the atmega isn’t telling it to do any thing

Have a multimeter? I’d check the pins for that socket. If it’s a kit, the sanguinololu has a really tiny trace for the RESET_SLEEP tie line, and I ended up accidentally lifting the trace while soldering mine up.

It was a pre assembled board from geetech.

But yea I have a multi meter and may need to poke around with it

Ill just need to find the socket pinout.

Socket pinout should be listed on the silkscreen of the driver board. Just remember the side it’s on and flip accordingly. =D
