Anybody building a delta 3D printer, and is looking for some way to connect the diagonal rods: take a look at these! They’re magnetic! M3 thread in and out. Nice! Been searching a long time for something like this.
Any hint on where to get them or what they’re called?
Like @Thomas_Sanladerer , interested in where to source them and if they’re strong. Many delta owners have been basically having to custom make their own versions, and if we had somewhere to source these from that would be fantastic.
http://www.frenergy.com.au/categories/Magnetic-Ball-Joints/ I’ve got the KD310. They should support 2Kg.
Pricing is a bit steep, though - $90 just for a set of joints is likely more than the rest of the mechanical parts.
Cost is to prohibitive. Other sources:

@John_Dohnut I don’t see any prices. And I really like to pay with PayPal, so I’m insured. And frankly, it was a really long search, and I just wanted to have them. But yes, maybe they’re cheaper somewhere else.
The links I posted are just as expensive, simply other places I have seen them, but based on the cost opted out.
Let’s here what @Matt_Kraemer1 has to say about magnetic ball joints. Last I’d heard, he’d given up and gone back to mechanical ones.
