Anybody know of a filament source that takes bitcoin? I thought @Adafruit_Industries carried more, but looks like it’s just Ninjaflex at the moment.
Awesome! Have you used their plastic yourself @Andre_Courchesne1 ? I’ve had my best results with Ultimachine PLA so I’m wondering if their quality is similar?
If you’re buying from Voxel Factory I would suggest staying away from their cheaper filaments, as their consistency is lacking, then again maybe they’ve improved in the last couple months.
I only bought a single roll from them so far. Works good. The label on the roll says it’s from RepRapper
Hello Guys,
Thank you for doing business with us! Indeed there is no magic, cheaper mean lower quality.
Regarding RRT material, I sometimes find a defective spool or out of spec one. But usually it’s fair enough and cheap. I have a customer usining it in 5 Makerbots almost running 24H/24H and order by 50 rolls batch. So it’s the Cheap and lower quality alternative but that is what some people are looking for.
We also offer @ColorFabb_Helian_Pol higher quality PLA wich is what you need if you want something as good as Ultimachine.
@Jason_Gullickson I have included a colorFabb sample in your package.
We also offer all Taulman3D products.
At Voxel Factory we don’t pretend we know what you need, we let you choose what is good for you and we don’t remove suppliers label to put our own. That’s how we work :0)
Regards,
François
robo 3d does and I’ve really liked their filament, minus the red
@Mike_Kelly_Mike_Make I guess
I couln’t find anything else to say more related to my last post
Thanks @Voxel_Factory , looking forward to giving it a try. I have to say I’m excited to find a filament supplier that takes Bitcoin, something romantic about having all the apparatus necessary to turn electricity into things sitting on my benchtop
We also take Bitcoin over at @ProtoParadigm . That’s actually the one thing that has enabled us to open shipments to countries that would otherwise be blacklisted (of course, only when paid with BTC).
