Yeah, ebay. If you can afford them, get ground rather than rolled ballscrews.

I get some 12mm 500mm long ball screws with ends machined and nuts for under $24. From any US supplier they would be $200+. I guess it depends on what you are buying.

Yes. Compared to my acme leads your ball screws are 336% more expensive. But ball screws are 60% more efficient. So there’s that.

Hi Shane, like you i was looking around for good but cheap ballscrews , finally my favourite online store did get em on their site. May not be the cheapest of the internet but they sure are the most trustworthy seller. I order on a weekly base and they did never let me down so far , so i recommend You to check these out (ofc they have all you need to complete your build.) good luck and have fun.
