Anybody try using the new WS2812(B) style strips?

Going to order another batch of lights soon and considering jumping up from WS2811 to the new WS2812. Looks like they moved the IC onto the LED which is cool in making a “module” but wondering if anybody has encountered issues with heat or physical fragility?

I’ve had both 2811 and the 2812 and the 2812 has suffered fewer failures. @Mark_Kriegsman posted about the difference between 2811, 2812 and 2812B.

I would go with the 2812b over the 2812.

Ws2812b’s are pretty nice for the price. I haven’t had much of any issues out of the 10 meters I have bought.
