Anybody using a Chromebook for slicing and printing? Maybe w/ Linux install or something web based?
Obviously could go raspberry pi - octoprint but was looking more chromebook straight to printer.

I would like to know too. The wife has a Chromebook which would go with my portable Bukito printer better then my stock desk top computer.
I don’t know about slicing, but web interface would be great. Octopi on Android?
I think the raspberry pi – octoprint is your best shot; the reason is that you can do cool stuff like live build plate monitoring when you’re away, and you can access it anywhere. BUT if you really want a direct connection, you’re right – your best bed is probably to install Ubuntu or another Linux and run it off that.
PS I forgot; the octopi option won’t let you slice, which could be a problem
