Though I’d recommend getting an i3, the Mendel is pretty out of date.

@Adam_Steinmark lol I know it’s out of date. I like making old things work rather than getting a new one right away. I’ll be getting this one working then use it until the wheels fall off!

I have two and they have been running for 4 years now with many upgrades and firmware software upgrades. Cura did do a lot for compensating the mechanical errors. Now I’m getting at the stage of retiring them.

Still running my rigidbot with the STOCK power supply.

hmm tempting , my rigid is still going strong, how much would you want for it?

@Tim_McDowell eh, it has heated print bed, acme z rods, LCD and sd card printing. But needs some new electronics and calibrating. So l think $200. Can’t get a printer this big with the same features for less than that. Seems like a fair price.

I’m saving up for an UM3 , I have a O+ and it’s pretty damn great, reliable as they come

@John_Ecker_GeoDroidJ basically reliability and the need for more time. I’m time poor so try to get a printer that is fast to setup and running.
