Anyone get a 2012 nexus 7 to work with gcode printr? Is did you root it or are you running one of the no root usb access apps?
I think @Bart_van_der_Wee had GCodePrintr running on a Nexus 7 (2012) . It should work without root. Do you have problems getting it to work ?
Mind’s rooted and I can run gcode printr.
I found a non root app and have been able to connect now with the printer (Azteeg X5). Now my issue seems to be I can’t send the gcode file over to the Nexus 7. It acts like its sending but after 10 minutes hasn’t finished?
how do you send the file ? with Gcodesimulator for PC ? How large is the file ? Do you see Load Model with a up-counting numbers on the tablet ?
I noticed it did eventually load just took a very long time. It was loaded with gcode simulator for PC.
Next quest has anyone one diagnosed the codes or formating gcodeprintr doesn’t like from cura?
make sure “Increase Memory Heap when loading” option is enabled. It will significantly speed up the load times.
I’m not aware of problems with cura files. Could you send me the gcode file by email to test with ? (gcode@dietzm.de)
email sent, increase memory heap was on. PC install would run the gcode,
