Anyone got settings for Slic3r to print gt2 pulley?

Anyone got settings for Slic3r to print gt2 pulley?
This is picture of pulley printed for wallace printer. The tooths are not clear.
When it was printed, printer speed up only for that thooth part. Like it was doing infill speeds for the thooth edge.
I try to debug it tomorrow with simulator or something to see what kind speeds are there.
I thought I ask first here.

I got prusa mendel 2.

I suggest to slice in Cura then print with Slic3r. That’s what i used to print these.

@Wayne_Friedt printing teeth this thin is another matter entirely.

@Mateusz_Perlak , try explicitly setting your extrusion width to .5mm and see if that makes a difference. Slic3r has changed a lot since the last time I actually tried printing that piece… Belt pulleys are not a good place to skimp, and I would definitely recommend going with manufactured ones. Robotdigg.com is the cheapest source I’ve found.

Do you have a link to this file. I keep thinking i want to try an print it.

It looks like you need to reduce the amount required to trigger retraction and slow down the print. Try kisslicer, I know it worked much better for me when printing gears for openrc.

thanks, I tried once kisslicer and just got weird printer reaction, maybe when I get more time to play with software settings.

@Whosa_whatsis I got original pulleys with belt - I just wanted do it reprap style :wink:
I am considering Spectra fishing line pulleys. but first I want to create original printer.

@Wayne_Friedt the part is from : http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:14208
and wade extruder’s gears are easy to print.

@Mateusz_Perlak
I finally got a chance to try this print. I was really wondering if i could even do it. I think i got lucky. Phone doesn’t get good pics.

They come out pretty nice. Time to play with other slicers.

Thanks

That was at .3. I had’t messed with other layer heights much but i thought i would try in on these pulleys scene i was able to print them at .3 Wow i wish i had a cam that could capture it. They are smooth. Took an hour to print then tho at .1

If you would like my Cura settings i would be happy to send them or post them if it would help.

Thank you, Cura is great, got nice smooth tooths (rounded due to 0.5 nozzle trying print 1mm wide tooths) but they are matching belt.
Doing few more prints for different tooth count so they will wrap belt. but Cura with normal speed print really helped.

Great
