Anyone heard of, tried, have comments on PolySmooth filament? They claim it can be smoothed with just about any kind of alcohol and can be printed on just about any printer that prints with PLA.
It’s pricey $54.95CDN / 0.75kg more than double the cost / kg that I’m currently paying for PLA. (I’m paying $29.75 / 1.0kg at my local electronics store in Winnipeg).

Looks interesting. I am still waiting on my sculptable filament from Kickstarter.
The chemistry checks out. (PVB = polyvinyl butyral, soluble in alcohol.) I haven’t tried it though.
It’s working well for me. Prints as easily as PLA and once smoothed looks like porcelain.
These two were printed at 0.15mm layer height, hollow, on an original @Josef_Prusa i3 MK2S. The picture isn’t great - they look better than this in real life. Really – they’re impressive.

I’ve heard of it and seen a YouTube video about the material and the fogger that PolyMaker makes for it.
