Anyone here had issues getting limit switches to register in grbl? No matter what I’ve tried I can’t seem to get my home or limits to register. I just click the crap out of them and the axis just keeps on moving.

@Joe_Spanier I haven’t used end stops in my Ox yet, but have you checked to see if your Hard Limits are turned on?

$21=0 (hard limits, bool)

yes hard, soft and homing are all activated. Ive tried with combinations of them, Ive tried NO,NC wiring, Even changed switches.

Hard limits are software based so that should be max distance for x y z movememts. I’m not familiar with the software your using but maybe a check box isn’t checked or the resolution of your steppers is off so it thinks it’s well within the hard limit by software but not so in programming.

Soft or hard limits should be based on the home switch position though. If it’s seeking home and the corresponding switch gets tripped it should stop and record that as global zero or whatever you defined home as.

That’s right but are your stepper configurations and table size correctly configured and in the measurement (inch or mm) to your table size?

Yes
