Anyone here that have tried onshape cad program? I just tried the android app and it’s actually quite good!
I use it almost everyday. Coming from Solidworks it’s almost like using the same software.
@Evan_Nguyen to speak to that point - lots of the employees including members of the founding team are from solidworks (Dassault Systems).
Not me personally, but our designer has found most of the features he needed from Solidworks and he keeps trying to convert me.
Not SolidWorks, but similar in many regards. File management is completely different, and so is assemblies.
You need a decent Internet connection and even then it sometimes freezes or crashes out. Fortunately, because it saves continually you don’t lose your work. I use it pretty much exclusively.
