Anyone here with dualextruder?

I retract about 10mm on my chimera when toolchange accures. But it wont stay primed. Extrudes much later than it should be.

Any suggestions?

Does your slicer allow different extract/prime settings? I don’t have a dual, but I see that in KISSlicer I can set the retract and prime differently for between rapids. Maybe there’s an equivelant for tool change?

In S3D you add extra start length at tool change.

@Jan_erik_Halvorsen @Alex_Wiebe ​ yes I can set that. Have it to make an extra advance of 0.5mm but doesnt work out either

Try 2mm and see if it helps 0.5mm is very little if you use 1.75mm filament.

Have you tried the “Use Prime Pillar” option on the “Additions” tab of your S3D Process?
