Anyone knows about a 3D printable prostetic leg? I need a cad model.
A prosthetic leg for whom? The reason 3d printing is so perfect for prosthetics is because every one of them has to be unique, custom-fitted both to match the other leg and to fit what’s left of the one it replaces. In both cases, the best way to match it is by 3d scanning the person that he prosthesis is for.
I know, but you still need a base model. That i can scan the leg and combine it with the model.
Scan the good leg, mirror it, scan the stump and do a boolean subtraction. That’s the basic procedure. No “base model” required.
