For a very cheap SLA, it looks pretty neat even if you do have to buy the off-shelf projector separately.

It seems to be extremley small compared to a B9. But interesting. A review would be great
Its a top down approach so more resin is consumed.
@shreyas_sagar top down is also a lot easier to design for. The bottom-up approach means that every time you’re solidifying a layer of the resin, you’re effectively gluing the print to the bottom surface of the bed.
Does the top down approach mean you don’t have to worry about over hangs and internal supports though? It’s also hella cheap too!
Top-down requires much more resin though eh? The entire usable build volume has to be filled with resin, rather than a shallow trough as per the bottom-up approaches. At least that’s what I’ve always assumed…
@Tim_Rastall , that’s true. But the top-down versions are also simpler because they don’t need a tilt mechanism to pry the resin off of the bottom of the vat. Both designs have their benefits and their drawbacks. If we could find a reliable material for the bottom vat, like a teflon coated glass, the bottom up approach would be superior in most ways.
