Anyone using @DesignSparkRS Mechanical? If so, how do you like it? Do you have any good tutorials on using it?

I messed with it a little. I’ve gone through a couple of the tut.'s on that ^^ above link.
Oh yeah there are these too:

Incidentally, has anyone found t-slot extrusions in their downloadable library???

I played with it some in my search for good cad software thats attainable. I found it kind of clumsy. I also played with Creo Elements and while it uses a similar methodology I found it alot more capable. http://www.ptc.com/products/creo-elements-direct/modeling-express/

I am using it exclusively at this point. I can not say enough good about it but i don’t have much else to really compare it to. This is not the first CAD software i have used but it is the first where i have been able to understand CAD operations and actually get parts designed and printed from.

Its ok… But crashes a lot like space claim which is the same back end as design spark. The thing I didn’t like about DesignSpark was the very limited import options. But designing from scratch and outputting STLs works just fine. Plus once you learn the push/pull methods it can be really easy to modify designs.

I finally got the concept of working in planes and switching back and forth between modes for what you are trying to do…
