Anyone who owns a delta know why the printer started doing what’s on the left? (Rostock MAX)

@Jeff_Karpinski it would have to be very consistent since the print is completely smooth.
Well, it’s about 8 inches tall. So, a single slip doesn’t seem like it would do this, though I don’t understand the geometry that well myself
It looks suspiciously like an issue @ThantiK was trying to diagnose on the deltas he was working on, but a bit more prominent. I think the answer he found in the end was that one of the apparently well-aligned legs was off by just a couple millimeters, and that was enough to cause a skew like this.
@Stephen_Baird my issue caused some different effects. I didn’t get a smooth transition like this. The orientation of the print should point to where the problem is. Which tower is it slanted towards? I’d check that e-steps were the same on it - I haven’t had a print come out that wonky but still that perfect…
Yeah, if it was all effed up, I would have almost felt better
it was actually skewed equally between X & Y axes, I think
Equally toward which tower? Deltas screw up and usually point to the tower that’s causing the problem… “Equally between X and Y” only eliminates the back tower.
As far as I can tell, the “high” side was between the X&Y and the Z axis was at the “right” height
Now that I think of it, the Z axis may just be low, thus causing the problem. Hmm.
Yep, if it was between X and Y, but pointing directly at Z, that’s likely your issue. Start there.
Yeah, good point. Gonna look at that tower. See if the belt is loose or something
