Anyone’s printer die when you turn the lights on/off? This sort of thing might be what you need. Tip comes with thanks to @Catalin_Voinescu who shoed me something similar for his Shapeoko electronics.

Now we just need somewhere we can buy it! Been looking for something like this to connect a 12v referenced circuit back to my computer without having to disconnect it.

Just have the pcb’s made and solder it up yourself.
