Apple 3D Printer in the future? (german)

Who knows when Apple gets into 3D printing? IMO it’s possible. But not with liquid metal. I cannot imagine that this technology gets on the desktop.

Apple seems to be more like a new Microsoft (I’ve been using Apple products since 1987 - OS 7.0). They are as likely to curate a single, specific experience (which only the devotees will flaunt as magical) with these technologies as they have their others - or kill it off entirely. They may also try their hand at patent trolling as well. Time will tell if they bring added value to the market or rest on their laurels - releasing one magical (read - minuscule) improvement a year and touting that it is 200 new innovations that will change the world. Sorry - but I’m sour on Apple these days. I don’t think that this move will improve the hackers, makers, hobbyists’ status at all. I hope I’m wrong.
Apple have not done anything for hackers since the early 90’s… And they are currently the hackers bane. They are doing more damage to makers and hackers single handed than any other company.
This could only end objet/makerbot sue your arse bad.
I don’t think so. 3d printing is a big market, but not Apple big.
Will they claim to have invented it?
3D printing hardware is a novelty to Apple. but they WILL reinvent the software to interface with them. Easy job for them.
