Interesting, the enclosure looks pretty big for the build volume though.
I’m getting really sick of these printers made by one company (in this case, Sharebot) with another company’s branding slapped on.
I love Mossimo and Arduino. He gets special latitude with me. If anyone can pull off a successful collaboration, it’s him. I wish him well. Perhaps they will dream up some special arduino goodness to move the technology forward.

In the case of Printrbot Simple… Price.
@Rick_Zehr That one is not yet shipping, only a pre-order price, no shipping price, promise of software, but that’s nowhere found. And a few more “red flags” like “intense research&development” while they clearly copied some basic design.
If that price is real, it’s either too aggressive or somehow untouchable. Either way, I’ll stay the course.
From their store page: “Easy suite of software available on our site.”
Anyhow, I’m trusting @Brook_Drumm here, he knows a lot more about producing cheap quality 3D printers then I do. But that price does not feel in a range where you can recover R&D costs, handle support&warranty for a machine with those components shown on the photos.
