Are people using the AMF format for multi-color prints or is it a dud ?

Most people are using multiple stls per color, at least that is how Slic3r works I believe, I don’t multi color print (no dual extruders)

Slic3r does use amf for multi-material prints, but can also work with multiple stls (which it can combine into an amf).

The most discouraging part about AMF is that you need to pay to understand the format

I can only hope that standard is available via pirated copy…

There’s no way to design an AMF file today. Shame
