Are the 17hm5417 Stepper Motors good for a normal 3d printer? (They are 0.9 degree. 1.7 amp)
They look suitable. You may want to plug the data into https://github.com/rcarlyle/StepperSim and see how they will act with your driver, (or find the most optimal driver)
