As anyone experienced the lighting and temperature quality for the SK6822 versus the WS2812B?

As anyone experienced the lighting and temperature quality for the SK6822 versus the WS2812B? I need to maintain an existing installation made of 96 meters of WS2812B but hesitate to change some of the strands by SK6822.

Note that the SK6822 is comparable to the WS2813B.

LED strips from different suppliers can have varying colour tones.

Also that many manufacturers/suppliers randomly switch between compatible WS and SK series chips.

SK6822 / WS2813Bs strips are more reliable than WS2812B type strips as one dead pixel doesn’t kill the downstream pixels.

I’d get a sample from your supplier and see how they look. (It seems that SK6822s need an external capacitor while WS2813Bs have it built in.)

Apologies if you knew all this already

@Jeremy_Spencer I have a side-question about WS2813B. How do you wire them? Do you split the data line when soldering to the pads?
