As I had mentioned before,

As I had mentioned before, @raykholo sent me a board and the board is fiiiiiine. Here are some pictures. Today I gave it power. Now, the whole thing with updating the firmware by just updating a text file – @Arthur_Wolf , I love it. Just love it. Who wants to buy a bunch of gently used RAMPS boards. This weekend, you will see the board mounted on my Solidoodle SD3. Then we test movement and then…we print!

Wow. How can I get my hands on one of these. My cobblebot is asking for some

You would have to speak to @raykholo . I am doing some testing on a bunch of printer chassis. More tomorrow.

@Dushyant_Ahuja glad you like it.
I have been hand assembling a lot of these for testers right now. It’s very time consuming. Your best bet is to follow me and wait for the first public batch launch, either direct sales with a few months lead time or Kickstarter - so that we can deal with contract manufacturing

Thanks @raykholo

One of the best things that will come out of this, other than extending an excellent technology, is that it will be tested under real world conditions using different printer architectures (SD3, Makerbot Clone, i3 variant, Delta, CoreXY bot). I can already tell you that 2 days into it, I am spoiled already and will likely ditch all my RAMPS, Melzi, Sanguino or other Arduino Mega based electronics.

Is it 32bits?

Of course. It runs Smoothieware (http://smoothieware.org/) and is clocked at 120mhz, reads from microsd card, can run webserver, this board is wifi compatible, the whole 9 yards plus a few more for good measure :slight_smile:

Really nice board perfect as my point of view
