As much as I enjoy this hobby,

As much as I enjoy this hobby, I swear every day brings a new challenge.

I’d read about people having problems with getting their prints free of the blue tape, but I’d never really had a problem. I have an old putty knife that would slip right in there and easily take parts off, and I could reuse the tape over and over.

But since I started printing at 200c (PLA), I think I could drop my printer from a 30 story building and the piece would still be stuck to the print bed.

I just printed this thing for my daughter’s friend, and I have to say PLA can be strong when it wants to be cause it was vicious getting it free.

I figured getting PLA that didn’t clog would be the end of of my problems…no, it just made other issues more apparent. I swear I’m on bugfix 290 of 388

Try borrowing some Kapton and using it instead of blue tape. I print on kapton at 200c with 50c heated bed just to help with adhesion and within about a minute or two I can work the PLA off, no problem. It just takes a little loosening work with the putty knife.
