Now if only I can get my hands on that tool so I can implement my plans of world domination…err…friendly robot construction.
The evolution of 3D printers is only just beginning! When they perfect methods of combining multiple materials, in computer generated structures to enhance the strength and characteristics then that’s when things will get very interesting.
Hmmm, automated material sensing and temperature adjustment with multiple material inputs for a single extruder…I smell firmware and hardware upgrade!
I think you got the wrong end of the Stick Nathan. I was referring to the effect that digital technology, now coming to the fore in 3D printing. Read up on Ray kurzweil he describes digital Technology in terms of
Exponential growth. We are just at the beginning of that. It will affect everything and I believe particularly 3D printing. From that point of view it’s just the beginning. 3D printing has been around for 20 years or so, with little innovation.
Impressive software, but as stated, I’m sure Disney will lock the software and control board down with patents and try and sell them for an outrageous price like everything else they own.
