What commands do i send to determine the z height before each print? I do not really want to manually set the z height when i change temperatures of the bed and put different beds on the delta printer i have designed.
I would be grateful of any help

What kind of probe do you use to measure if you hit the bed ?
I think you want G30 probably.
Yes i did read the smoothieware(.)org(/)delta, it goes on about manually setting the z height by jogging down. The probe is a FSR system under the bed. I tried G30 and does give the z height, being new to the smoothie board how do store this z height into memory for the print?

G30 Z0 will go find the bed then set the Z height to 0, is that what you need ?
