You do realize that this requires a rig to overhang a projector, right? Hardly pocket size.
You do know @Shachar_Weis that you can get small projectors that are pocket sized don’t you. Designed to be carried with your laptop so you can present anywhere you’ve a wall.
Pocket projectors are usually LED or laser, which won’t work (not enough UV output). A weak projector will take forever to print anything. So really, you would need a decent size projector. You need to mount it so there will be absolutely no vibrations, and this requires a massive rig or a wall/ceiling mount.
Well no projector will have high UV outputs for it as they would damage your skin if you stood in front of it. Maybe this is why its already been laughed at as an idea.
No, the idea is solid. B9Creator uses a DLP projector and works just fine. This kickstarter in particular is just amateurish, misleading or just a scam.
The concept does sound pretty amazing, hopefully not too good to be true. According to the specs, the unit measures in at 250 x 120 x 30mm when folded.
ok for the last time - the size of the unit is irrelevant, it is a marketing ploy, a trick. A LIE. The unit is useless without a projector and a rig to hold it.
