Aww yis. I’m UK based. Getting this stuff is a pain to find, but I’ve found a supplier. \o/

It’s rare I use glue stick, but it’s pretty much essential for Nylon Bridge on Glass. This should last a while…

Well I use Uhu, works great and is available at e3d which are in the uk

@VolksTrieb - yeah, had the UK equivalent - Pritt Stick and I’m aware I can get UHU. I wanted to give this a shot to see what happens. As it is, I’m soon to be down to only 1 printer with a Glass bed 2 have Printbite and 1 is waiting on the PEI arriving. The final one will be upgraded soon as well.

I just use Aquanet Extra Hold hairspray. Make sure to clean the glass thoroughly if you try it because every bit of gluestick left on he bed will make it work worth crap. I exclusively use ABS, but someone else surely has opinions for use with nylon.

@NathanielStenzel I mainly use Insette Hairspray (pretty much the UK equivalent to aquanet) on glass. The only thing I use Glue Stick for is Nylon, as it holds the part a lot better than hairspray.

I was using UHU for ABS and it worked well. I tried onnce or twice some chinese shop equivelent, trying to save some cents, but it didn’t work at all.

@Ax_Smith-Laffin really? Huh. I have worse luck with blue Elmer’s gule sticks holding ABS. How is your luck for ABS? Normal or borosilicate glass? Bed temperature?

@NathanielStenzel ABS on Glass is Insette Hairspray, normal glass, 120c, 10 loop brim, bugger all warp.

I use Elmers purple all the time - although its hard to get in uk. UHU does the same job but the elmers is nice because on most colours the purple glue shows up more clearly on both the print bed and the print, making it easier to see if your bed needs more glue - or your print needs cleaning.

90% of my prints are ABS on glass
