Did you have to jump power over to the Aux Input jack to get your steppers to activate? Thats the only way I can get mine to power. If thats how it works its fine, but it doesnt seem right.

There is a jumper for that, possibly a solder jumper on the shield board? Don’t recall for sure, and I don’t have one handy ATM. I do know that the motors will not receive power with the shield board removed.
No jumper to aux on mine. Just hook up to main power input and steppers worked.
If you get a chance @Whosa_whatsis can you check for me? Ill look a again but I couldn’f figure out a jumper. There isnt much documentation. The shield was in place.
I don’t have mine jumped. Only jumper I found critical is the input select jumper.
Like I said, I think there is a solder jumper on the bottom side of the shield board that allows you to disconnect the input power when you are going to use a separate power source of the motors. The problem is probably somewhere on the under-side of the shield board.
I assemble machines all day long, and I’ve never had to jump over to aux input. Only input I’ve ever tied to was the 2 big screw terminals.
Turned out to be a missing part of my shield. Roy from Panucatt already has the process going to get a new shield out to me. Awesome customer serivce.
there a input power selector , it is a 3 pin mark has int/usb
it wasnt that. Theres a 4 pin header on the shield that goes in right next to the X driver, It broke off the board. They are surface mounted pins and the is changing them in the next revis to through hole. I was actually able to solder them back on today and get it running like it should but Im glad he sent me a new shield today. Who knows how long my crappy solder job will hold up.
