Back into LED coding after an enforced 2 month absence (broke both my elbows, which makes typing and anything else rather difficult!). I’ve been using the excellent wiki article by @Daniel_Garcia on using multiple controllers, and playing with extending my KITT and some other random stuff over 2 sets of pixels using a single leds[] array.

Thanks for the great article, it took me through the steps required and the structure made it easy to pick up the method by building up from the simplest level.

I was originally going to try joining strips end to end, but this is a much easier and more elegant method, and has the advantage of making it easy to inject power to the base of each separate strips.

Sorry for the shaky camera work, it’s dead difficult and quite painful supporting the smartphone with dodgy elbows

Now I can expand on the concept and get more of these pixels into something a bit nicer than my test rig.

Thanks again to Daniel for the wiki article, and to Daniel and @Mark_Kriegsman for the continued improvements to the library code and docs.

Both elbows? Damn! Glad you’re back in the game.

Yep, roller-skating at my age isn’t a very sensible thing to do, but I’m sure to be back on the rink soon, although I might be a bit more careful next time
